Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway Claims Life
Speed May Have Been a Factor
October 31, 2023 – A Lake Alfred man died Tuesday morning after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash on US Highway in Winter Haven.
The crash occurred at approximately 9:18 a.m. when a 31-year-old Lake Alfred man driving a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck. The impact of the crash ejected the motorcyclist from his bike.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
The Winter Haven Police Department is investigating the crash. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
