The popular Japanese street racing manga series "Initial D" has officially concluded after a 28-year run. Written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno, the manga has captivated readers with its thrilling car races and heartfelt romantic drama.

The series follows Takumi Fujiwara, a high school student who works as a tofu delivery boy. Despite his ordinary job, Takumi is an incredibly skilled driver, having developed his abilities while delivering tofu down treacherous mountain roads at high speeds. As the story progresses, Takumi encounters a variety of rivals and forms romantic connections, all while honing his driving skills.

"Initial D" has been a commercial success, with over 48 million copies sold worldwide. The manga has also been adapted into anime, live-action films, and video games. The anime adaptation is available for streaming on Crunchyroll, while the live-action films are available on DVD and Blu-ray.
