ACPI 2.0 error on Thinkpad
Symptoms
Users may encounter an unknown device with the hardware ID of ACPI MSFT0101 when installing Windows 7 32-bit on a ThinkPad. There is no 32-bit driver for this device and the installation will fail. If you switch to a 64-bit version of Windows 7, you can install the hotfix provided below.
Windows Event Log will show the following error:
ACPI 2.0 Error: [Firmware Bug]: BIOS _OSI( ) query did not return _OS Info

This device corresponds to the TPM. There are no standalone drivers for the TPM.
