The Denver Nuggets stormed to a resounding victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2 of the Western Semi-Finals, taking the series lead 2-0.
Nikola Jokic led the charge for the Nuggets, posting 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists. Aaron Gordon added another impressive 24 points, while Jamal Murray chipped in with 20.
The Lakers, on the other hand, struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game. LeBron James managed only 18 points on 7-of-21 shooting, while Anthony Davis was held to 15 points and 8 rebounds.
The Nuggets' defense was particularly impressive, holding the Lakers to just 38.5% shooting from the field. They also forced 15 turnovers, which they converted into 24 points.
With the win, the Nuggets take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. Game 3 will be played in Denver on Friday, April 28.
